About Me

My photo
Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
I grew up in the dusty streets of Soshanguve, a township in Pretoria; South Africa. Grew up with my mother who is an amazing woman that raised my brother and I all by herself. For curiosity reasons, my parents are divorced and my mother is just amazing enough to look after the both of us. I found out at a young age that I'd lost my sister and faced with numerous other challenges growing up, poetry was my way out. That played a big role in who I am today and has earned me a few achievements, the biggest being granted the opportunity of being a published poet in an Anthology called "Daybreak" and having earned other achievements and also making a start of writing for a few artists and producers. I'm too a daughter, a friend, an aunt, a blessing, a miracle, a lyricist, and therefore, a lyrical miracle. I'm not unique because I'm not like everyone else 'cause everyone's unique... Get me?? I love music, i love drama, i love basketball (i DO play it but I'm no player), I love my mother, I love myself and my first love, i love poetry...

For a Second...

For a second there, I forgot why I'm supposed to let go of you..

I forgot how hurt I used to be..

I forgot how I was put to sleep..

I forgot how I was never supposed to wake up nor feel..

For a second I forgot how I used to see myself through your crystal eyes...

And yet I forgot how I used to shed tears through mine..

For a second I forgot why I'm supposed to be happy as opposed to being shattered..

For those crystals were truly shattered..

For a second I forgot how I was hugged with courage, kissed with a smile and pierced with a knife...

I forgot why I chose you, for it is not you that deserves I..

But for eye to see who you really are whereas it got me in a critical condition 'cause IsawU..

For a second I forgot what it was like to be bliss..

I forgot what it was like to be myself..

Strong, passionate, ambitious and independent..

Oh, I forgot what it was like to be genuine..

Just for a second...
