About Me

My photo
Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
I grew up in the dusty streets of Soshanguve, a township in Pretoria; South Africa. Grew up with my mother who is an amazing woman that raised my brother and I all by herself. For curiosity reasons, my parents are divorced and my mother is just amazing enough to look after the both of us. I found out at a young age that I'd lost my sister and faced with numerous other challenges growing up, poetry was my way out. That played a big role in who I am today and has earned me a few achievements, the biggest being granted the opportunity of being a published poet in an Anthology called "Daybreak" and having earned other achievements and also making a start of writing for a few artists and producers. I'm too a daughter, a friend, an aunt, a blessing, a miracle, a lyricist, and therefore, a lyrical miracle. I'm not unique because I'm not like everyone else 'cause everyone's unique... Get me?? I love music, i love drama, i love basketball (i DO play it but I'm no player), I love my mother, I love myself and my first love, i love poetry...

Like Father, Like Son

Like Father, Like Son
Like Father like son
Like, Father like son

Like the way you packed your bags and left…
A home, left, with my essential half, with a precious sentiment, a life changing moment…
Left with a precious sentiment, a life changing moment, left with  soul, a fire, a relationship… there you sailed away

Like Father, Like Son
Like Father Like Son
Like, Father Like Son

Like, what am I left with?
What am I like, because apparently I’m like you?
Like the way you left with a precious sentiment, a life changing moment, left with a soul, a blaze, a relationship… there you sailed away

Like Father, Like Son
You left so I’m the man of the house, the so called “father”
I’m the precious sentiment, the life changing moment, the soul, the combustion, and the relationship, what you were supposed to be…
Left with a beautiful trio, like mother, like daughter
Not being brought up by a father
But being one

Like Father, Like Son
Like, Father Like Son

Apparently I’m like you but who are you?
Left… but maybe not right
I for-give you my love

Like Father, Like Son
Like, Father Like Son
Like Father Like… maybe not like you
