About Me

My photo
Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
I grew up in the dusty streets of Soshanguve, a township in Pretoria; South Africa. Grew up with my mother who is an amazing woman that raised my brother and I all by herself. For curiosity reasons, my parents are divorced and my mother is just amazing enough to look after the both of us. I found out at a young age that I'd lost my sister and faced with numerous other challenges growing up, poetry was my way out. That played a big role in who I am today and has earned me a few achievements, the biggest being granted the opportunity of being a published poet in an Anthology called "Daybreak" and having earned other achievements and also making a start of writing for a few artists and producers. I'm too a daughter, a friend, an aunt, a blessing, a miracle, a lyricist, and therefore, a lyrical miracle. I'm not unique because I'm not like everyone else 'cause everyone's unique... Get me?? I love music, i love drama, i love basketball (i DO play it but I'm no player), I love my mother, I love myself and my first love, i love poetry...

An incomplete piece...

I'll try and express this in a sentence...
See, this is in present tense and not in penitence...
It's no death sentence...
Because forever I see myself in your presence...

Now, what we have, others consider it love..
You and I DON'T really consider such... Well, kind of...
It's more like... An escapade  of continuous non-stop grenades that blow outrageous shades of cascades...
Where, words like 'love' are a degrade of what has decayed of what should be a parade...
A... parade of, you and I where we introduce an excuse to truce our elated abusive emotions...
See, I'm not a glossary where I occupy terminology that contains silly words that show authority
I'm, more of an encyclopedia that disposes illogical words that intend priority

I'm what we call a poetess that lies 'cause this is no sentence...
For I cannot express affection in a sentence...
I unbottle my emotions before this glass breaks, so we can partake in this lovely ache in my heart...
Yes, they call it love, affection, adoration, infatuation...

But in fact, it should be blue and sea...
Where we open our eyes and examine something true that's a lifetime guarantee...
A long queue to get in front and own the key that contains hearts...
Not three, but two...
Hearts that are ours.. You and me...

>>Arrggg fuck! I'll finish this later<<
